Minister Harps On Talent Development

The Federal Government through the Ministry of Communications Innovation and Digital Economy led by Bosun Tijani has reaffirmed commitment to raise generations of young people who see technology as a tool to build solve and lead.

The minister who was represented by the Director E Governance in the ministry Johnson Bareyei stated this in Lagos at the unveiling of the Akesan ICT centre to support the area's tech ecosystem as well foster an enabling environment for growth investment and talent development

Come Tuesday April 15, 2025 the Federal High Court Abuja will hear a suit filed by the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria(ALGON) against the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) among other defendants over the implementation of local government autonomy.

This is contained in a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/353/2025 and instituted by the Registered Trustees of ALGON against the Attorney General of the Federation, the Minister of Finance, State Commissioners for Finance and 21 others.

2027 GENERAL ELECTIONS: Presidency Denies Erection Of Campaign Billboards Nationwide

The Presidency has dismissed its involvement in the increasing number of campaign billboards in parts of the country aimed at promoting the political ambition of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections.
‎A statement by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga emphasised that though President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima do greatly appreciate their teeming and loyal supporters across the country for their enthusiasm and continued support they however do not support any campaign that breaches the laws of the land.
